Had my workout-worn underwear stolen at the gym today

So I started going to a gym near my building downtown because they closed the one IN my building. Nice gym, but full of strange people.

Anyhow, today I get done lifting and head to the showers, leaving my underwear on top of my gym bag by my locker....no one else near my locker.

Come back a few minutes later and it's gone. Search all around and nothing, so I politely inquire "where the f*ck are my underwear"? A guy walks over and says "I though it seemed strange but I saw a guy in spandex walked over and stuff them in his bag on his way out".

Seriously? WTF?

there is a large market on ebay for well worn, ideally smelly, men's sneakers/underwear etc.

Also, is your gym in Canada? If so, I may know the forum member that did this. He has a history of shenanigans in the locker rooms of mens gyms.

There are websites devoted to this sort of thing. It's a big industry.

I knew between Ed and Conne we could not only propose the most likely path my drawers are headed for, but also penetrate this seedy underworld and possibly recover them. This is why I so enjoy Styleforum.

Yes. They aren't chasing me out of my gym and I'm 6'1" and 230 and have the gym owner's permission to knock them out if I see it again. I am actually excited to go back.

Trust me, you don't want them back.

If GQGeek stops posting for awhile, now we'll know why.

On a more positive note, I picked a great day to wear a cashmere/wool blend.

Ed - had you brought those 'classic cut' pants to market for my massive quad syndrome you would have had a product endorsement here...

You would know.

Not that I'm into that kind of perverted thing, but if your underwear was Zimmerli, made from the finest Swiss cotton, then I can understand the desire to pilfer them.
