EDIT: Any suggestions would be appreciated. They're just for a costume event -- then they'll revert back to stage one: plain black Docs with normal laces and black soles, a la artishard's latest entry.

took some Old Navy white v-necks and cut the arms and waist for raw hemz icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif I really like the look.


also, in another stroke of genius I decided I am going to attempt to make my own NDG paratrooper pants...HMMMM

Your only option might be to dye them. Using Fiebing's would make them an all-matte black; you could then use standard polish to make certain areas shiny, somewhat imitating what they usually do with their black shoes, suede v. leather v. patent leather v. nylon, etc. Check my atrocious costume shoes above for an idea of the shiny.

here's a test run on my NdG paratrooper DIY mod. Gonna probably get a better buckle/strap, and I will actually sew it down underneath the pocket.
