[2nd drops 4/12: I guess there aren't that many larger guys looking for Barbours on SF... if I don't get any bites in a few more days, these will be going to eBay.] Spring is here, perfect time for a Barbour. Like many on SF, I have a tendency to buy things impulsively and then decide I don't want them for one reason or another. In this case, I was convinced I needed a Barbour so I bought one from eBay (the green one) only to find I wasn't happy with how it fit. Why then did I buy a second one? I cannot give you an answer, because I don't have one. (ICYW, I ended up buying a Filson, which worked out much better for me.) Terms: Paypal only (please use the personal payment option), US shipping only via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation. Prices include shipping. I am usually able to ship the next business day after receiving payment. So here are the details: the Bedale is NWT but I (stupidly) removed the tags before realizing I wasn't going to keep it. I have them and took a pic along with the Barbour pin (see link below), obviously these will be included with the coat. The Beaufort was used before I bought it, but it's in really good condition. Measurements: both coats are size 44, so their measurements are roughly the same. The back measures 25" across under the armpits, plenty of room for a sweater or even a sportcoat. The Bedale measures 31" from the collar seam to the bottom; the Beaufort is an inch longer, and of course the Bedale has the side snap vents while the Beaufort has the "game pocket" with zippers on each side. Since they have raglan shoulders, I measured under the arms to the sleeve seam: the Beaufort measures approx. 20", the Bedale comes in at about 19.75." Photos of both coats can be seen here: https://picasaweb.google.com/1158837...KCn__Fv4CTxwE# (There are also some pictures of a vintage black cashmere overcoat in the set with the Barbours; I haven't had time to take measurements, but if you're interested, please get in touch.) I've been on eBay for almost 13 years, have 100% feedback as both buyer and seller. Also I recently sold two Seiko automatic watches here on the forum to satisfied buyers (thread is here). I'm asking $200 >> $190 >> $180 for the Bedale, $175 >> $165 >> $155 for the Beaufort. I'd like to see someone make use of these, instead of them just hanging on a rack (covered, of course) in my basement. Also, full disclosure: I have a dog, but she's never been in the basement in the five years we've had her. Nonetheless, if you buy a coat I'll go over it with a roller, including the inner lining, before packing it. Thanks for looking, and please contact me with any questions.
