Quoddy vs Sperry sizing - help please

How do Quoddys fit compared to Sperry Top Siders? Should I get the same size or size down half for a pair of unlined Quoddy camp mocs? In my experience Sperrys are rather short/snug in the toe (I need a Sperry US8.5 to be comfortable though I can wear a US8). Thanks.

I wear 12D in Sperry and 11D in Quoddy. I'd probably be okay in an 11.5 in either, though.
