Been absent for awhile here, but I've worn mine almost every day since May 6. Gotta find a good time & place to take some pics.

I got a pair of the red line in 29 from Blake's. I'm a true 28.5 - 29" waist, and the waistband was ~1/2" too large to start, but the rest of the top block fit well so I figured I could work 'em. Over time, they stretched out at least another inch in the waistband. When washed hot & machine dried, they shrunk back to roughly original, but then stretched right back out within a day or two. (I think Namor scientifically documented this somewhere above.)

Last week I finally decided to see if I could take in the waist without messing them up too badly. It was pretty easy to take them in ~1". Now post-stretch they're maybe a half inch large in the waist, but I'd say the overall fit is better than when I got them...

got my chinos back. tailor did an awesome job tapering the leg. Leg opening went from 9.5 -> 8. unfortunately, now I want to get the seat and waist taken in because im imaging how much better the chino would look without a cock bulge.

Taper looks good! See what you mean though, the top block's a bit loose compared to the bottom now.

Was thinking I needed a 33 as well. Comparing the measurements just posted to the previous season (http://www.styleforum.net/showpost.p...&postcount=88), the new chinos are cut fuller this time around, the thigh and knee measurements are an inch bigger! Wonder why they did this.
