what the hell are you guys doing to your pants? I have encountered none of these issues.

and yes, I am wearing them frequently... wtf
post #287 of 1018
i haven't worn mine nearly enough to have problems. the only minor gripe i have is i don't like the straight pocket. i am not really a fan of any pant with them. it's always weird trying to dig for my money clip or cell phone.

I noticed that mine did not have the most firmly sewn buttons from new, particularly the fly (back pocket buttons were a lot better) but haven't had any issues yet.

Will probably preemptively reinforce them pretty soon, and likewise on moving them over a quarter inch or so to tighten up the waist a bit...

I am sorry to those of you who are having button issues. We have not heard about that happening to anyone locally.

We just received a email confirmation that the shipment when out. I have several requests for sizes in my pm box and I will pull and contact people who asked for the specific sizes in the order that they contacted me. Then we will post whatever sizes we have left.

Thanks for everyone who has contacted me regarding the chinos and I look forward to the progress on the chinos throughout the year...

it appears to be the LE chino. The LE chino has a very light selvedge line. Pretty much the same color as the pant itself

LoL. Seriously though, are you guys wearing these really tight in the waist or something? I've never had pant buttons pop off before except this one time I went nuts at the buffet.
Mine don't fit tight at all; the buttons just aren't sewn down very secure. For the record, this is my only issue with these pants.
My pants are really loose. When I walk around in them, I dont feel any tension at the waist. The problem with these buttons is that they are sewn on. Compare that to RRL denim where the buttons are metal rivets. When I unbutton the chinos, the stiff denim causes me to pull on the buttons just as I would with any pair of RRL jeans. I think this is just a design flaw. Like S-town said, the pants are awesome and this is the only inconvenience i have with them.
