How do you store your bike?

Thread Starter
I live in a small studio, and I've been figuring out how to store my road bike before I have it shipped up from FL. How complicated would it be to mount a bike rack onto a brick wall? Any other suggestions? I don't have wall space on the ground to leave it against a wall.

I have a stand that lifts the rear wheel off the ground. It hooks under the chainstay and seatstay on the non-drivetrain side. Have you checked out the stands that lean against the wall, like this one?

i assume you're not allowed to drill holes in the drywall, right?

the tension ones should be avoided, as they have a nasty habit of losing tension and thus falling over

scope out instructables and see which approach is the most feasible/ applicable/ whatever

I have one built from ikea stolmen parts (google it and you will see) It holds 2 bikes like the tension mount one posted above but looks better.

Been standing 1 year without issue

My landlord just installed bike racks from the ceiling, we'll see if they hold up.
