If they fit like Burberry that would be great too.

I picked up the Aquascutum 42R Fordham Henderson Grey Flannel Suit a few days ago. Based on shipping time estimate on the site, I should receive it sometime next week. I'll post some pre-tailor pics to give you a rough idea what to expect.

As promised, a straight-out-of-the-mail fit pic. Bringing it to the tailor's tomorrow. Should have an "after" shot in about a week.

Do you wear normally wear 42R in other brands and how do they fit? Once you have it back from the tailor, please tell what you had done to it. Seems a bit large in places from the pics. How's the fabric?

Thanks for posting the fit-pic. Where was the suit made?

I recently purchased a PRL and a Perlis suit (both from B&S) in a 42R that I think they both fit quite well (the PRL was in my last submission to WAYWRN, the Perlis is still with my tailor). Only alterations to either one were to sleeve length, and a bit of excess fabric right under the pits. Usually a slim 42 will be a tight squeeze (but a slim 44R will be too big) but anything more in a conservatively cut 42R works. I'm sorry to say I returned this suit, as the shoulders were a bit small and the lapels a tad narrow for my body type.
