FS: Dack's Brown Longwings (8.5G/9-ish) - $55

Up for grabs are a pair of gently-used brown grain calf longwings, made in Canada by Dack's. For those who don't know, Dack's was an iconic Canadian shoe company whose shoes were generally considered to be on par with Allen Edmonds or Alden. There is moderate creasing on the uppers, but no scuffs or scratches that I can see. Soles (which look to be double leather) are good condition, with some wear at the heels and the soles that would be consistent with moderate use. Interiors look clean. The shoes are marked "8.5 G", which works out to a 9 or 9.5. I'm a 9.5 D and I can put these on with moderately thick wool socks, but it's a bit snug. Just wanted to toss in my approval of this sale. I own 2 pairs of Dacks and they're definitely about what AE is cranking out right now. It's a shame they went out of business! Good luck with the sale.
