This is the one at Pentagon City, right? Thanks for the heads up, I stop by sometimes and rarely find good stuff, sounds like they must have gotten some new stock.

In the past, I got a RL Blue Label, DB cashmere SC made in Italy by Corneliani for $189; a Corneliani silk SC for $89 and RRL slim fit jeans for 29.99.

I've also seen Armani Black Label, Gucci, D&G, Valentino Roma, Marc Jacobs, etc. Marshall's, obviously, can be very hit-or-miss, but sometimes they have great stuff.

I get all my running and tennis shoes are Marshall's and usually pay less than $20 for New Balances. I have also found Irregular Brooks Brothers ties for $2,Lacoste belts,Saks Tuxedo pants,Saks dress pants, and Lacoste shirts.

How would one obtain the locations of those stores?

They are usually by medium-big malls or outlets.

Edit- IME

I believe he's asking specifically about the "runaway" stores. All Marshall's locations at malls, so that can't be the correct answer...

One item I saw that was definitely worth its price was a 3-pc PRL (by Cornelliani) wool/cashmere suit selling for 499. It was beautiful.

interesting.... pm sent.

That's helpful, thanks.

BTW, what does the star mean? That you might spot a celebrity?

After reading this thread yesterday I went to the website and got the location to Marshall's and TJMaxx nearby. (no runway for 150miles )
Hit up the Marshall's. The only decent stuff they had for men were some dress shirts. They had Polo RL Custom fits for $30. And they had a good supply of classic fit (tent size?) too. Also some Tommy Hilfiger Slim fit shirts for $20...not great quality but I have one (gift) that fits well so I might pick up a couple.
I didn't pick up any, but might go back later in the week after I check out TJMaxx.
