I can't even remember that shit but good for kevin arnold for once.

I watched the final scene of the finale, the 4th of july parade and I found it very peculiar that kevin had to stress that his mom became a successful career woman later on in life. there was more mention of that than his dad dying in a couple of years.

Definitely intended and, in a way, made him more accessible to the average male viewer. We all like to play up our strong pimp hand on these here internets, but most of us probably weren't naturals with the opposite sex growing up.

It's unfortunate the show turned into such a mess the last several seasons when they added characters to the main cast. But the second through fourth seasons are still laugh-out-loud funny and, at times, compelling television. It was certainly goofier than the Wonder Years, even before the show lost all semblance of reality. But the writers kept the show relatively realistic with regards to the typical problems of adolescents.

Dan Laurie may be among the best TV dads ever. The guy was intimidating as fuck even though he only occasionally raised his voice. He nailed the stern demeanor but played it with such delicacy that you never lost sight that ultimately, he was a caring guy.

one of my favourite shows in the early 90's .. I felt that Becky Slater (Danica's sister in real life) was a great character in the show too. Still remember how she punched Kevin when he said can we just be friend ..

I always thought of BMW as the ten-year old equivalent of Home Improvement complete with the dude St. Elsewhere filling the role of Wilson.

That scene is just great. "Friends!? Friends!? I'll show you friends!" Then she just lays Kevin out. That leads to that great Star Trek parody scene complete with Pfeiffer as Spock.

This is awesome news.

The discs have been in the 'pending' section of my queue since I joined Netflix.
