***4/9 DROP - 12K GOLD and DIAMOND cufflinks

An elegant pair of cufflinks, each with a central genuine diamond, marked ' 12K G.F. ' and 'Anson, Pat. Pend.' I imagine they have a few, if not several, decades of vintage.... Radial/concentric fine grooving around a central diamond, with a 'starburst' engraved around the stone. Fine coin-edge cut on the outer edge. The concentric grooves yield a radiating reflection of light, the 'walks' around as the link is moved...and that, as the stone reflects and the starburst picks up the light......... A nice, and interesting, combined effect. I had the local jeweler take a quick look this A.M., and they confirmed genuine diamond. I didn't invest in a size/grading, though... One fine scratch on each face, near the edge, and not readily evident. Otherwise, in very nice condition indeed. 15/16" x 1/2". ****GONE****
