Yup.

The SL guy Medhi ripped off both Rippetoe's 3x5 novice progression and Bill Starr's 5x5 and still managed to fuck it up. 5x5 for work sets is too much for a novice. Even the more advanced Texas Method only uses 5x5 for one workout a week.
