
I am finding Alden's intractable, flippant nature toward their new fan base and their long-time retailers verging on lunacy. There are small shoe-makers that are in the game of MTO and there is a large audience for said MTO, and here Alden goes and nit-picks instead of happily taking the customer's money in exchange for what they want. And here they are, giving shitty corporate monsters like J.Crew far more business than long-time partners such as Moulded. Moulded, Leathersoul, Leffot, Epaulet, et. al, should be their priority. Arrrgh.

Well, as much as I would personally like to see Alden give the SF population more of what it wants, from a business perspective I can appreciate that J. Crew is a more desirable partner than low-traffic specialty stores.
