any photos?

sorry no photos smile.gif but they go for something like 78,000JPY or so new (about 1,000 USD)....

one funny thing I did notice was that Audley III (with 367) was available in black and 'Chestnut Antique', while Belgrave III was available in black and 'Dark Brown'. Yes, that is direct opposite from their 337 counterparts....

The photos can be found in the "scanlations" link in Nutcracker's sig (originally from a Men's EX issue from last fall). I'm not sure if the shoes are being sold anywhere other than Isetan so the odds of these showing up on eBay in a large enough size are virtually zero.

As does Alden Madison Avenue (black and #8 shell). Glad this is one style I'm not really interested in.

does anyone know what leather this shoe is made of?

it is marked originally $550, on sale $299 on the shoe mart irregular list. It's a modified last, I just picked one up.

This boot has been on the seconds list for the last 10 months. I have inquired about it several times and each time I am told that the boot isn't in stock and is an inventory error. 9D? If you got it, congrats.

Visited Anatomica Japan yesterday and got sized for the Modified last: 12.5c. I wear an 11.5 Barrie and TB (but TB is too big for me), so I was surprised that the 12.5c fit perfect. They had an awesome sample pair of color 8 tanker boots and they wanted near $1800 for them!

ML in C width? wow, I thought the D width had a tight waist

1800 bucks (140,000 JPY) seems quite expensive even in Japanese standard uhoh.gif

I wear a 9C in Modified but my "regular size" shoes are probably 10 or 10.5B (or sometimes A)

I think the caveat is that the $1800 boots came to Japan by way of France.  That might add a bit to the overhead.

Exactly. They had been at the Anatomica Paris shop and were loaned out to the Tokyo shop as a sample (or something of that nature). He didn't really want to sell them or give me a price, but he said they could let them go for 180,00, probably knowing full well that I wouldn't be shelling that out.

The Anatomica shop also has a stunning Ravello PT Boot and Captoe derby on the Modified, but only in a few sizes, and only for serious coin.

What color captoe derby? Got a nice graduation present in yen...

Twas Ravello. Too bad, you probably don't care for that shade do you. No idea what sizes they have, but I believe the one I saw was an 11.5D (?)
