Modified Last shoes paired with La Cordenerrie Anglaise EM500 shoe trees





The skinny profile of EM500 fits into the gnarly interior of a MA shoes quite easily, and gives adequate front-end pressure
This pairing was actually suggested by a guy working for R&D, the distributor of LCA products in Japan

I agree. they look particularly good here. Some lasts look better in smaller (or larger) sizes which might be what is going on here. If I had to guess, they look like a small size which might be hiding the shape of the modified last. Or maybe it's just the angle and lighting in this particular photograph.

Did anatomica ever make a cigar pt boot? or perhaps captoe? Or even better #4 anything modified? Love my ravello ones now, would like another pair.

Nice thanks. $1500 is a bit out of my budget. And to think even when yen was weak these were crazy expensive.
