Sweet Jesus, roguls, my pants just got shorter.

Deets please. Did you call them up or go to Paris?

They speak English. Charles is a gentleman.

Hmmm... very dangerous. Shipping and delivery time both reasonable?

Extremely, though they were shipped not very well - shoes came perfectly, but boxes were beat to hell.

I will be buying from Moulded and Anatomica.

I should be doing things far more productive.

Well, I'm clearly going to be spending some otherwise useful time looking at these photos. Cigar is beautiful, and the suede looks wonderful as well.

Wear often and enjoy wearing.

Incredibly beautiful!!  I'm not sure if I feel extreme envy, worry that I'm going to have to spend some serious money now, or what.  Enjoy those wonderful boots!  btw, what color are those laces?  They look almost mauve-like in the pics.

Thanks gents; I justified by selling some stuff and delaying buying some Carmina shell. The modified fits me just right, so I cajoled myself into doing it.

Like Roguls, I am impatient. Unlike Roguls, I am cheap. I went to Allen Edmonds, thinking maybe I could find comfort in a shell Park Avenue, of which they now have lots. Also, they have the very handsome Strand in shell. To her credit, the saleslady told me "you have a wide forefoot. And high arches. And a narrow heel. I am not sure this shoe will fit well." The shell Park Avenue is a beautiful shoe. I understand even better now why we are chasing a modified shell shoe. I am no closer than when I started. And much more frustrated.

Still hoping for a trip to Vienna smile.gif - but that involves a second trip to Vienna - not sure how it all shakes out in terms of cost.

not necessarily. also, buying london bespoke is the equivalent to two trips including shoes. not exactly, but close. and you have a great experience, too.

That is depending on a persons foot, and we're all different in that regard. Ive had Barrie, Aberdeen and Trubalance. I only still own the Barrie, everything else paled in a fit comparison.
The modified does not appeal to me so I have not tried it.

that surprises me. the ml is pretty similar to the classic AH lasts and iirc you like the less refined Dinkelacker lasts.

Thank you kindly, sir. I believe I cannot justify purchasing anything other than Modified or Trubalance lasted Aldens. I will be branching into Carmina I hope as well.
