I'm so ticked Alden stopped making ML Boots on EEE. 9.5EEE is impossible to find in ML - they said something about getting a new cutting machine a few years ago - blah blah

Personally, I'm maintaining the fiction that I will go to Anatomica one day. We'll see.

funky toe stitching aside, those look much nicer than the trublanace lasted indys.

Does anyone have the modified last natural indy from moulded? if so, do you know the price?

 

So are there no more EEE moulded last boots anywhere?

I love the modified last but absolutely hate shell.

If you like the last and hate Shell - you're in luck. Calf is far more prevalent than shell in this last - especially in the US

The Brown CMXL PCT Boots are very sweet. Again - no fooking EEE - WTF!!!!!

The only hope you have is finding some old stock make up from Moulded in EEE and/or something sitting in the seconds inventory at the Shoe Mart. I called Alden a few years ago and they said NO.

I called to check on pricing and they are going to be $568 when received next week. Ths is a good bit higher than shoemart and I think I'm going to pass.

I think you'll find that with all Moulded Shoe Modified Last make-ups. They have some pricing power here because the alternative is Japan / Europe - which are very, very high... I don't think it's fair and I have avoided the trigger pull on quite a few items in the past 18 months. I suspect a single pair of dress shoes in calf (make-up run) is running over $500...

i preordered them a few months ago. they are supposed to have a shipment arriving in january. price is $550 i believe. not sure. (i recall the modified last being $100 more than the TB last / mass-produced)

I've bought 4-5 pairs from Moulded in recent years. Alden has been raising the prices.

Sorry for the SPAM, but I do have a pair of modified last NST in B&S, great shoe, just don't wear it enough. 9D, under $200...
