Gordon Yao, Bespoke Tailors - official affiliate thread - Page 3

Gordon is an absolute gentleman and superb tailor. He has made me many suits, coats and trousers to my very detailed requirements, I just that broadening the business out in this way will not diminish either that quality or service.

We are collecting potential customers from Australia. If we get enough interest, we'll definitely make a trip. Keep in touch and let's see if we can make it possible.

Peter Chong's suit does look superb, as do some of the other suits from Mr. Yao referenced in this thread. My only concern would be whether that kind of result can be achieved without fittings.

Probably not. I think for the 1st suit you would need fittings.

Yeah, that's what I would assume. But am I right that fittings are not offered for customers on the US tour, even at additional cost (like Chan)?

Correct.

FWIW, I have never had a fitting. I've had them look at stuff on subsequent trips and have sent things back for tweaks. However, I've acheived solid results without the need for fittings.

What has this to do with this thread other than advertising your own business?

I thought he was just pointing out that the suit Peter Chong is wearing is by Gordon Yao. there aren't many pics of a DB by GY.

I am already a customer but if you do happen to travel to Sydney I would definitely order a few items.

Whoa. Those are some impressive results sans fittings.
