What do you think of the "rule" that a sport coat should never be lighter than the trousers with which is worn? A quick glance at the WAYWRN thread seems to indicate that quite a few of you would say "rubbish", but still...
I realize that some combos, such as a white or near-white jacket with metal buttons and dark trousers will make you look like a steward on an atlantic liner, but surely, say, a medium grey jacket with navy blue trousers would be a nice look?
