Leon is brilliant, one of my favourite magazines. Wish they had an English edition.

Every issue of Esquire's BBB has a "Best Of" section in which they list the "best" barber, cobbler, etc. in various cities. Seems to me that some of the selections are so off base it would be like Gourmet Magazine identifying Denny's as the best steakhouse in any major US city. Do any SFers have any idea how the list is compiled (selection criteria, etc.)?

For shut-ins, agoraphobics, or anyone who would just rather order on-line

anyone vouch for it on a month-to-month basis?

Given your sartorial inclination, I'd suggest a subscription to the Rake. Thinks its worth every penny especially given the alternatives.

Granted the Spring BBB was kind of a letdown, but does anyone know the release date for the Fall 2011 BBB?

Might be misremembering, but last year's came out around mid-or-late-September.
