Similar fits to Dior Homme 19"?

I've been looking for a pair of jeans that have a similar fit to the Dior Homme 19"
since I can't really afford those at the moment. I had to dish out alot of money on stupid schoolstuff this month, so yeah. My bankaccount should allow me to buy expensive stuff again in about a month when I get my paychecks. :]

I was planning to start with a pair of APC New Standards but after having tried them I became a bit uncertain about the fit. Still thinking about it,
though.

I was reading about the Samurai Experiment on SuFu, I would have liked to join in to see how a raw denim newbie would fare, but oh well. Japanese heavy denim looks really great. Any chance of competition like that on this SF? I'd like to be part of such a thing.

Anyways, jeans I've come up with so far are:

JR no-wash California
JR Hoboken (not sure about the fit, but cultpops Nikkis look awesome)
LVC 1947 deadstock

I've got no clue about Japanese brands.

Why not just buy the Dior's in a month (or charge them now)? Might as well get what you really want.

My advice would just be to get Dior. The way Diors fit isn't as simple as tight/tapered. They're very well cut.

Yeah, if you want something that fits like the Diors. My advice is to just get the Diors.

There are no jeans made by a Japanese brand with a similar fit?

Johnbull Sewing Chop SC008 and SC003 look really great as well. Does anyone own a pair of these?

Those certainly look nice.

I've been reading some contradicting posts about the SC003s, one claims they are not selvage and another claims they are. So, what's the deal?

Most Diors aren't selvage if that matters. You can get them in selvage, but I hear they aren't as nice as the Japan non-selvage diors.

Oooh, after checking out the fabfour website and the topic on SuFu I've pretty much decided to go with the 5010 6x6s!

Now to get the sizing right. Thanks.

I just wanted to point out I like the fit of the Diors, but I think they're a bit pricy. I would like to get a similar fit in the near future, though.
I'll try to name my topics better in the future.

Thanks, though.

We shall use something with far more prestige and honor as is fit for this particular SF. May I humbly suggest these.

I'd wait a month to get the DH if you like the DH/19cm silhouette, I don't know of anything (that is cheaper) that fit like them... 45rpm got some tapered/skinny jeans that I really like, but I don't need more jeans (at least for 6 months) so I don't want to look them up coz I'd want to buy them...

Skull jeans don't have a similar fit to Diors... I do think the Johnbull SC008 fit pretty similarly to dior 21s.
