Pretty sure SF with pitchforks in hand ostracized him... did anyone think it was a networking thing at all? He could have been with a YTB like company selling travel deals and adding his commission. Does anyone have his email?

thread was probably deleted b/c he wasn't actually selling anything. if his thread was "Ritz Carlton Boston room @ $199 / night" that's ok. if it's "I'm a travel agent who can hook you up" that's not ok. same thing happened in B/S before. forum rules say you need to state a price. and a product. he had neither. he may very well have been legit but it's against forum rules to just use threads as advertisements for your services. it's why official Affiliate threads exist

yah that and he self bumped his threads about ten times which is verboten at SF, for good reason I'll admit.

He got banned from the Buying and Selling "other" section. I understand the feelings towards non-repped members like me. However, I DID take the chance myself, and it worked out perfectly. Now, as soon as I get the time, I will try my best to prove with pictures that this dude is legit.

My point was related to putting all the pieces together and making an informed decision.

No big deal - I was thinking about using this chaps services but was obviously concerned regarding the legitimacy. Any information that I could use to make a decision would be useful.
