cross post x100

my southwick suit just came in the mail and holy jesus do I love it I might have to get rid of all my other stuff that doesn't quite fit me also I just finished bidding on the exact same suit but with side vents in a nice solid deep navy I think I will have both of them for a long time
please note this is before tailoring I am lengthening the sleeves ever so slightly, adding some more waist suppression and hemming the pants to a minimal break with no cuffs, I have decided cuffs just don't work for me, but other than that this this fits great!! right? please tell me if I am wrong but I freaking love this thing, barely any padding more summer weight 1/4 lined with nice ass fabric, only thing I would change is move the button stance up about an inch but damn this thing is nice. please excuse the bad hair I just got back from the shooting range also check out that lands end tailored fit cutaway collar shirt I highly recommend it you can get it for something in the 10-20 range

also shout out to ellsbebc for the suit the $50 price was very nice! only thing I noticed was a hole in one of the pockets but that is an easy fix!

My first ever girlfriend decided to invite me to her wedding next June. I was on the fence of participating since after all she was my first unrequited love and she cold heartedly broke my heart when I was 9 years old. But I think i'm over her...

This is what I might be wearing during the outdoor reception:

Definitely nothing set in stone since it's in over half a year from now. Might switch for orange knit tie or something.

I will probably get a new midnight blue black tie rig from Henry Poole until then for the evening program, but have not decided yet on which configuration.

Cool; the guest knows what he's going to wear to the wedding before the bride does : )

I would personally go for a pair of dark brown shoes, maybe a pair of double monks or suede oxfords.

Well, I will probably even put more thought into how I dress. After all, we are on Styleforum. Don't judge me. Don't judge, lest you be judged!

Seriously though, I just had this made a couple weeks ago and needed an excuse to wear it. The save the date letter came in August though. That way one probably can't claim to already have stuff planned

All of sudden everybody around me is getting married and I'm just here... procrastinating.

Jacket is unlined, twin vented and with MoP buttons. Lapel peaks are 11.5cm/4.5inch.

as if double monks will still be a thing in 2013 lest are a thing even now

Well, yes, I agree that double monks may be seen as a trend, but I know I will love mine for a long time. And jodhpurs in the summer?
