For some reason I think of PT Williams when I see this.

Anyone else looking forward to autumn as much as I am? Doubt it.

Yep, I sure am. It's been hot here too but I've been buying a few sweaters and scarves... can't wait for December.

No. This is a case of too much. Tie is too loud, as is PS. Collar and knot are bizarre. Belt has too much going on. It appears sleeves are too short on the coat.

Please enjoy this brief musical interlude.

Sorry. I haven't had much to eat in the last week and my judgement is a bit shaky. Too SW&D?

I was attending a steeplechase hence the loudness but what seems weird about my knot and collar?

The knot is good. The collar is good.

Can't really say much based on the angle of your photo.

They are not that good, sorry. Neither is the outfit as a whole. The problem with the collar and knot seems to be you are tying it around the wrong way i.e the angle that you're four in hand knot creates opposes the angle of the button point at the collar, rather than resting up in to the collar cleanly. Does that make sense?

Other issues you have is the pocket square is out of place on it's own, not harmonius with the rest of the outfit, the tie and belt clash a lot and your jacket and trousers seem to be very casual and unstructured cotton but the shirt with cutaway collar is fairly formal looking. If your looking for critique on fit then it's impossible to judge due to the photo cutting of the bottom half and the way you are standing. A plain knit tie would have been better and no pocket square.

I won't comment on the haircut as this is not the "How is my hair looking today" thread. Anyway don't take this as a personal attack but there is a lot the could/needs to be improved so hopefully you will keep learning and keep having a crack at it.

Yeah this isn't working...
The tie is too wide compared to your size, and it looks like it's from the late 70's
The knot and the collar isn't working together as you can see tie under the collar
The belt is not working either, as it doesn't match or compliment anything
The PS isn't good as it's way too loud, because you try to somehow match the tie, and that doesn't work
The pants is hard to tell, because they look like grey denim, but that can't be right
The jacket is also hard to tell with it being open...but somehow it looks off...like sloppy looking...also, is it black?

Despite my name I attend a southern school and know a thing or two about southern style. It's not so much the loudness but the way it doesn't work together. I recall at the Carolina cup, I wore a green seersucker blazer, Nantucket reds, with a yellow oxford and a madras bowtie. My belt was a needlepoint with different critters on it. The point is is that the very nature of the patterns dont work together. Specifically, patterns should be different sizes, and some patterns, like paisley, probably shouldn't get near other patterns at all. In this case your tie, belt, and pocket square clash horribly--and not in the good sense. In this situation you probably should have just worn the latest critter tie by Hermes/Ferragamo/Vineyard Vines/Southern Comfort, with that belt and a brighter pocket square.
