Some interesting overnight discussion, I see!

Monday morning, up uncommonly early, and in a fit probably more suitable for the casual thread?

PS. justinkapur, to answer your question, yesterday's jacket was by Ede & Ravenscroft, from a Porter & Harding Glorious Twelfth cloth. Thanks for the compliment.

Anyway, i was in the Temple watching Boca and Argentina Juniors tonight... got to tour the museum, meet the players, visit the field. Best sports experience of my life happened today ... being the only black guy with my team, I had ~10k people chanting "brother of Pele!!" while we toured the field after the game ... lol - a great Sunday night

Brilliant!

I almost got so see Diego play (way back in the Barcelona days); I think he was injured. I did get to shake Cruijff's hand though, when I was 10-11-12 (?) years old.

That's an interesting suit and I'm happy to see that you're not afraid of "standing out", which is almost inevitable with a three-piece these days - and too bad as they look great IMO. The sleeves are on the short side (or the shirt sleeves a bit long). The tie looks okay (see below for a franker assessment), but I'm thinking something like gingham or shepherd's check might look stunning with that suit. You could also try a green tie, which often looks great with gray suits, or possibly a sober checked shirt and a navy / brown solid tie to pull it all together.

thanks! sleeves arent as short as they appear, a tad short, but they look REALLY short in the pic for some reason...maybe holding my arm strage agree on the tie....

The tie is terrible and the suit buttons are a bit jarring with that cloth but the suit itself is nice.

Seeing the tie in the pic puts me of the same thought. before leaving today i switched it for a solid navy cashmere.

If the tie were form the pocket square fabric and the square from the tie, the look would improve. I agree with Manton.

I also agree with Ed

Did you have the lapels narrowed?

damn good eye. Lapels never had a buttonhole, but they were too wide for my liking...

Appreciate the look, love the suit, not a big fan of the tie.

Thanks! tie was switched out, as were the shoes. Solid navy cashmere, and dark chocolate ferragamo monk straps.

appreciate teh input everyone! I think the 2 changes really helped. Ill have to get an updated pic.

If that's a flannel suit, I'd wear a non-silk tie and either suede shoes or darker calf ones.

thanks for the input ed. darker shoes and a solid navy cashmere tie really changed the look and made it a lot more easy on the eyes.

Picked up my suit. Threw it on to take pictures for the internets, none of them turned out perfect. There's more waist suppression than the low angle of the pictures gives away.

You are so ******* lame it is almost incredible. I mean this, a hairy lesbian, is the best you can do? Can't you even be interesting here? And what is wrong with hairy lesbians? Do comments like this come from some weird insecurity you have? Some small penis issues maybe? Were you the last person in school to get pubes? Did you used to stand in the corner of the shower with your legs crossed so that none of the other boys could see? Come on, Mr. Daniels, at least if you are going to try to be mean do something that doesn't show you to be the pathetic little bigot you seem.

So nice to know that you are up past midnight musing about the size of another guy's junk.

Jacket too short and buttoning point too high IMHO.
