Yesterday, jeans again… looking for the summer-autumn transitional "sweet spot'. made a shoe change to the loafers… who says no brown with black?

Love the color of that jacket. Unfortunately it is far too short (length and sleeves). Also, and I'm not sure why this is, it seems to have a peculiar drape on you that is a bit off-putting IMO. I think you could benefit from some structure in your jackets judging by how you hold yourself.
Side note, you might want to get the jacket cleaned as it appears there is a rather large stain(?) on the lapel.
EDIT: I think the DYI aspect of the jacket explains the "stain."

i agree....i like natural sof shoulders and higher notch lapels...but this time it looks off. I think a bit of structure in the shoulder would help. or it could possibly be your posture in the pic.

Yea, sorry, iPhone pictures suck...here's a better pic of the tie (the B&S picture from when I bought it):
the texture is kinda nubby, which personally i think works well with the suede and is casual.
I agree the tie is maybe 1/2" long...I guess it just doesn't bother me that much
