Thanks A! I needs me some GIT. or Aventus. :embar:

Well I have heard that Davidoff Cool Water is very similar to GIT. Except of course the extra $150 price difference.

I'm not an expert on this, but I have heard it said that the layman cannot tell the difference between the two.

That being said, I will always use GIT. :p

Victor, I like the individual pieces, and the fit is impeccable. I just wish there was a bit more contrast between the pants and the jacket.

I like the casual look, Nii. Great jacket. LOL'd at iamatt's comment. Was thinking the same thing. Made me smile.

Last photo for a while as I'm off to sunnier climes for a short break. Just in time too, as autumn seems to have definitely arrived, and the weather forecasters are saying that the remnants of Katia will wend their way to the UK by Monday.

Dig, the width of the pants is OK for you, but they would be OK with a slimming as well.

Victor, that is a great tie - is that Tom Ford? Did you get it from me? LOL... I sold a gingham just like that on eBay to someone in Russia..

No. This tie from Aquascutum. LOL

I think there is a waste difference between merely having generous facial hair growth and being a hippie. Wild beards can be seen on many well renowned gentlemen, and is especially suiting for a man within the teaching profession (you'll almost always find at least a few professors at every university/college sporting great big beards).

Good examples of classic gentlemen wearing big beards:

I think a generous beard can work to a point...but is probably better off with tweed and corduroy. NYRanger frequently wears very elegant suits, (many of them three-piece) and it just does not jibe for me. It would be like seeing a very conservative, military-looking guy in a sarong and a tie-dye dashiki.
