Busy Saturday with the wife. Farmers market, groceries, etc.

Kiton shirt, pink incotex chinolinos, prada belt, AE tassel loafers, panerai 232, and aqua di Parma splash cologne.

Know it's a few days old, but this is really well put together. Good job.

they are soon to be replaced by the C&J Tetburys though. Xmas gift from my wife. (she just doesnt know it yet)

Derek, you have excellent potential. If you show a little more imagination on your tie and pocket square choice, you could definitely place yourself in Styleforum hall of fame before long.

thanks a million k! I definitely need to step out of my comfort zone. Its gonna take some playing around, and a few bucks spent on some patterned PS. And probably a few dozen emails to spoo and pocketsquare guy. ;)

Interesting, is that why an extra set of legs can fit into your pants...your head is so big? How do you carry that sort of weight on such a flimsy neck? Anyways, the esteemed gentleman and scholar was referring to the overall fit of his jacket. As if a looser waist would make a bulbous head so much less bulbous. No, not really...and the poster in question doesn't even have a big head.

The only bloated head is of iammatt's who talks about dressing according to one's body not fashion...Very classic advice, but some things cannot be masked, like a large head or short neck or an incompetent and tactless sense of etiquette i.e. iammatt.

I am literally dying to see an example of iammatt's clothing...I don't pay much attention to names but even so I know the best dressed in this thread is without a doubt victorsf...Iammatt doesn't even register.

I was going to comment on a few of the nice fits today, but am overwhelmed by the virtual flatulence of Octavian's posts in this and other threads.

Derek, could we get a close up of your ring? Looks interesting. :) Nice trousers, think you need something like a blue n white polka-dot tie with that outfit. :D

Excuse the crappy picture, it's all I could manage.
Earlier people had commented on how my tie knots and tie widths weren't proportional to my lapels, I think this Robert Talbott knit tie is more suiting.

Long time, no pics. I'm down about 20 pounds since I last posted a fit pic, so some things fit better, other things (like maybe these trousers) might need some adjusting. Have your way with me. (New to me jacket, BTW...)

Excellent!

I love these complex combinations of options and good clothes!

It is very hard, it's great work!

The simple blue or gray suit with a dark tie and a light scarf and white (blue) shirts - will always look better. This is a proven option. But it is too simple, though good. Always use it boring. This is a basic, very good and strong option for 70% of cases.

In the remaining 30% (when the situation allows it) - you want something more sophisticated. Something creative.

How is your very good version!

It is obvious that such complex options - like you - require a lot of effort, a lot of knowledge. It is always dangerous and exeperimental very well - when he can.

Do you - it turned out! I love it! Respect you for courage, work, creativity, patience, and taste! Thank you!

Suit/shirt: Ercoles
Shoes: RL C&J (was pouring this AM)
Tie: Givenchy Linen/Silk

holy ****, fantastic.

if you had told me about the tie and ps beforehand i would have said don't do it, but it works. in fact, you could stuff a dead pigeon in your pocket and that suit would make it look great.
