This would had been a outstanding picture if your trousers where the same colour as your jacket. Sadly it isn't.
And by the way that colour of your tie is wonderfull.

Not feeling croc with velvet; one's hard, the other's soft. Feels wrong to me on an instinctive level. There's also a looks/function issue here because patches are meant to prolong life of a jacket, and using an expensive material for that purpose feels inappropriate. I quite like your clothes most of the time, but this really misses for me.

Is it still summer? The cold, driving rain and hail and wearing flannel, makes me uncertain...

Holdfast - Thank you!

By the way, a great combination today!

Everything is very strictly, nice and proper! Maybe I should just put a white pocket handkerchief instead of yours, but that's subjective.

On velvet - velvet that is very dense and thick, and he's not soft. Its density is 435 \ 465g.

In reality, the patches are not as shiny as the picture. It is much more matte, and very soft, such a treatment and skin density.

In general the words can not describe how else will wear this jacket and I will do different photos, so it will be obvious

@Holdfast: It's raining in England?

"It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring..."

... he'll get woken up by the hailstones hammering on the windows soon though.

Same story at the Oval too, I hear. :(

Photos are never reliable, it's true. As long as you love the jacket, that's obviously the most important thing.

HF, I like the striped blue shirt and solid tie with that suit. I think the suit might just need a solid tie.

Crusty, the Goya palette looks great.

Oh, and the shoes are great. Handgrade C&J?

Yes, HG Selborne...

I really think you are my Russian doppelgänger. :fistbump:

Really? Good!

I adore this jacket and would love to see you try again with a less aggressive shirt/tie combo.

OK! May be next time :) Thanks!

Great SC. Maybe a more moderate shirt?

Thanks!

Great jacket.

Mike

Thank you Mike! And... Where are you????

Sorry, but the jacket is perhaps two sizes two big for you.

I understand your comment and thank you for it ( and to the guys that agree with you of course), but what happens is: first, in last months I lost a significative amount of weight, and I should have the jacket fixed, but as I'm recovering the lost weight quite quickly, I thought it would be losing money doing that. Anyway, I think that the way the photos were taken makes the jacket seem larger, because I don't feel it when wearing it.

Here, a photo taken last year, with the same jacket. Do you still think it seems 2 sizes too big to me. I really am very interested in your opinion (and others, of course)

Cheers, and one more time, thanks for the comment
