To clear up the confusion, yes, the suit is really black, and thank you, Spoo-meister, for the compliment upon it - it was recently altered to fit the somewhat smaller me.

Ah well, can't trust my eyes.

It's been a while to post here.
I bought this beautiful suit from one of forum members, and I like it.
I wonder whether a light-blue shirt would work better than white one with a khaki cotton suit.

victor - like the cufflinks you've been wearing. adds some panache.

Show us details of the brown suede bag with the edging. And who made that for you?

Señor Crust: Very graphic and sharp. Your colleague seems to have nailed your tie aesthetic, too.
Spoo: +1 on Lufty's comment about the contrast between top and bottom. Switch out those trousers, and this would be a killer look.

(I won't go along with the comments in the thumbs-up trend. It doesn't work well, plus I don't get what's so bad about having praise in-line with the rest of the thread...)

Thank you all for your comments!

Thank you also for the interesting photos of members of the forum today!

Something like more, something less, but there is something to see. This is very good!

As for the suede bag, This Alfredo Beretta,

that's the full picture:

As for the tie, the only way that I thought that I could tame it would be to keep to a very strict, basic color scheme - black, white, red, with a touch of yellow (in the PS), like a Goya portrait. The pocket square is new as well, and happily, it kept to the color scheme.

you did a good job making the tie blend in instead of it sticking out like a sore thumb. well matched my friend!!

Velvet tends to wear out. A crocodile - very strong stuff

This jacket for walking, often in rural areas. It is heavy, but warm and paste la elbows give a little strength. Just a little
