Yeah, it looks to me like another .25" in band height would help shorten my neck, and I guess that would call for a similar increase in point length to compensate.

I think you are wasting your energy trying to fix something that doesn't need fixing, you really need to get a well fitting jacket or a couple of them. I have yet to see a jacket that fits you well, I think you'd do yourself a great favor by getting a custom sport coat made that actually fits you well. I say custom because it seems like no OTR jacket fits you well.

I don't disagree with you, forex -- and I've got a custom SC being made for me right now -- but I'm not sure how you're arriving at this conclusion from these pics since I didn't include any good robo-poses.

I'm not sure that's an option with MyTailor.com, but I'll ask. I agree that the collar looks too low in the front but seems fine in the back. Thanks for the suggestion, Parker.

I know I'll take heat for this but I just can't seem to convince myself that a navy suit should go with black shoes. PG as usual your fit is spot on, it's just that I would have picked some shoes in a brownish color, this would have (may be) pull the tie and the whole thing together. just my $ 0.02

I happen to love black shoes with navy suits, just as much as brown shoes.

+1. For formal business dress they are essential, at least in my work environment.

I don't know what it is with the multitudes of hate for black shoes. I still like them a LOT in many cases.

This hate of black seems to be particularly prevalent with the younger ones around here.........just sayin'.

Although upon looking again at Phatt's fit today I do get what the poster was saying about how a shoe in a tone to match the tie might look especially good.

I don't hate black shoes... and thanks for the "younger ones"... I really really appreciate it, hahaha

I just don't like them as much as I do brown ones
