Would you explain to me why you are wearing the watch on top of the shirt's cuff? No offense, just a question by a noob.

It's what the called PG style :D.

As far as I remember this has been done in the 80's aswell, even on sweater sleeves.

It isn't exactly flattering to the body either. Jacky G could do things others could not.

^ I like the windowpane, but I think you are just too young for a DB.

Almost all of my 15 suits are DB. I have 4 SB's. Trust me if you saw my entire face and over all appearance you would't think I was day under 30. I wear DB for a few reasons. OTR it get better patterns, full cut, I look older- which is something I need and don't need. Customers used to request someone more "senior" to work with them.

Not saying this DB looks good in this pic on this person, but I think it's a myth that DBs, 3-pieces, pocket watches, hats, etc., are only for the geriatric set. This was not historically the case, and while there is a danger of looking anachronistic, I think the danger comes mainly from unfortunate pop culture references and our own prejudices rather than anything inherent about the garments/items. DBs are not currently in fashion, but this isn't fashion forum, and they are a stylish item for any man.
Im not saying that they are strictly for geriatrics - I was wearing a Huntsman pinstripe DB at the age of 31 - but it has to fit your gravitas. From what Ive seen of Paolos face, he does not seem to have the gravitas to pull one off - but he looks at himself in the mirror in the morning and says it works, so, there you go.

Because once upon a time, a cool Italian guy did it.

This should serve to answer most 'why?' questions ITT.

Hi Dan,

Your combination of shirt, tie, pocket square is good to go.

Adjustments: Your shirt collar appears to loose - you need a smaller neck size. Your tie knot is a bit large and could use a dimple. Pocket square could be more aligned with the angle of the top of the pocket (or use a looser fold which can be more loosely aligned.) To me, the very simple TV fold you've used is fine but I prefer it when this sort of fold aligns pretty much exacly with the top of the pocket.

Carry on!:)

Hi, Gdot. Really appreciate your advice.

You're true about the neck size. Problem is, S sized shirts tend to have sleeves that are too short for me so I have to settle with M.

I'm aware of the rather bulgy knot. Believe it or not, that was my second attempt ever in tying a tie so I had no idea how to reduce the size of the knot, let alone creating a dimple. Maybe I should try small knot instead of FIH? FYI, that's a knit tie.

Never mind the pocket square. I actually intended it to align with the pocket but it just wouldn't sit right :/
