I've pretty much been in shorts and tees, with no real effort in sartorial wonder for work, so I've got nothing to add but my new baby girl.)

Well made well fitting and well combined clothes should speak for themselves without the need for these gimmicks. He already stands head and shoulders above the vast majority of well dressed males by dint of his personal style. The rest is noise, adds nothing - just not necessary.

The gimmicks are just him having some fun with it. He wears a super pared down minimalist navy-every-day wardrobe, so I figure accessories are his chance to play around.

I doubt you'll get any answers here, because everyone will say no to you. Plus what I'm about to post will get tons of hate, so I'm going to put a spoiler on it. Anyways, to answer your question...

Anyhow, here's a WAYWT pic for me from yesterday.

What other PS would go with this outfit? Would a white one be better or too close in color to the jacket? Also, what other colors go with this damn green shirt? I have an olive tie, but beyond that, I have no green ties.

The only thing you did not get right is: shaving your face

How can you go to all the other trouble to dress so nicely and do your hair so nicely and then not bother to shave.

I hope you at least put some grease/dirt under your finger-nails to complete the image, and please do not use underarm deodorant cos you definitely want that "I just got out of bed and have that smelly dirty unwashed smell permeating from you underarms." kinda smell.

Girls, sorry, everyone I know just loves that dirty primeal 'I didnt wash at all today' kinda stink to go with your dirty nails, and unshaven face

Hahaha, despite my 32 years of age I look like a high school kid when I'm newly shaved. This does of course not stop me from shaving before I go into office, but this was my day off, mrs is away and well... I was lazy. Trying to pull this off may seem like a lame attempt at grown-ass-man-style, but I know MBreinin has got that base covered so I'm not even going there.

These shoes are actually from an SF-approved maker (or at least linked in the high end shoe thread), albeit a lesser known one, and pretty typical of their shoes...I only have the one pair though, and no plans to buy any more. The rest of my shoes are much more standard....

BTW I have shoes for sale that cost $3500 because they have bedazzles. They will be big hit here.

Nonsense. Scruff is hot. But loose the neckbeard.

Bracelet, then sleeve, then watch? Slow down, I'm taking notes.

It may be just me, but seersucker pants look wrong here.

keep the shoes if you must but make a few changes - change the laces from rope to dark brown dress shoe laces, throw on a little darker polish and darken up the white stitching across the shoes, get a cobler to round out the toe box.

welcome!

I'll think about the shoe mods you suggest, thanks!

Hay, dude, you seriously need to go long on the jacket (if you are reg. The first button should be halfway between where it is now and the second button!); your jacket should cover your ass/crotch! Technically, you should never match a PS with your tie, but it's not so bad here. What shoes are you wearing? Did you try turning up your jeans with those loafers?

Aside from that, I think the colour palette is fine!

Well, I kind of think it works somedays too. I usually shave it all off instead of trimming it or making small alterations, as I easily rash and want to fiddle with it as little as possible (and mind you, I have tried almost every product, shaving method etc to avoid this problem, but nothing really works).

A white PS with a navy edge would look very good, I'd think.

I'd never put a green tie on that shirt. (That's something I used to do all the time but SF thankfully broke me of the habit.) On my monitor, it looks like you're wearing a navy tie here, and I think that's a very good choice. It would work especially well with the PS I mentioned above.

Please take note of what Alex said about your jacket. I concur.
