That said, welcome.

I concede that the shoes are probably an acquired taste that not everyone will like...I happen to enjoy them, but can see why others may not. Here are a couple of better pics (sorry for the non-neutral background, best I got right now):

Thanks for the comments everybody - I will try and continue to post fits (this is by far my most non-SF approved jacket, so thought I would start off by setting the bar low and out there so it will be easier to clear in the future

Too bad, better with white stripes. Donate the shoes to the Goodwill, pronto. They are the ugliest shoes I have ever seen on this site---challengers welcome.

Lol, well they retail for 1500 or some crazy number way higher than I paid, so I'll def not be Goodwilling them...plus I actually really like them, but like I said, I could see how somebody might not. Thx for the comment tho.

The only thing you did not get right is: shaving your face

How can you go to all the other trouble to dress so nicely and do your hair so nicely and then not bother to shave.

I hope you at least put some grease/dirt under your finger-nails to complete the image, and please do not use underarm deodorant cos you definitely want that "I just got out of bed and have that smelly dirty unwashed smell permeating from you underarms." kinda smell.

Girls, sorry, everyone I know just loves that dirty primeal 'I didnt wash at all today' kinda stink to go with your dirty nails, and unshaven face

No attention to appearance will offset poor manners. Food for thought deandbn.

to add to what's been said...

jacket button stance is a little high
keep the shoes if you must but make a few changes - change the laces from rope to dark brown dress shoe laces, throw on a little darker polish and darken up the white stitching across the shoes, get a cobler to round out the toe box.

welcome!

C'mon, man. Shirt cuff too small? Watch band too big? This is making lemonade when life gives you lemons.

I have been having the same issue. What do people recommend for striped orphan jackets (that one loves, and one is a poor college student) or bona fide sport coats with stripes. I.e. Black with stripes--Grey Trousers? What about light Charcoal with pinstripes? I know that many do not approve of striped odd jackets. That is fine, and I admit the situation is not ideal, but I do not have the budget to replace them with 2 new jackets for my rotation.

Concurred.

PG's consistently well made and well fitted clothes are if not destroyed then certainly let down by these ridiculous affectations. Unbuttoned collar buttons, jumper round the neck, bracelets and now the Agnelli ... What's the point?

Well made well fitting and well combined clothes should speak for themselves without the need for these gimmicks. He already stands head and shoulders above the vast majority of well dressed males by dint of his personal style. The rest is noise, adds nothing - just not necessary.
