The trousers look a bit short in those pics even though they are just right in real, have to check that out.

Friday, and the end of SC week for me. For those who care to opine, should I move towards a suit based wardrobe, or stick with a mix?

Also, that's it for pics from me till after the 4th, I'm off to the blue waters and clear skies for a much needed break.

Neo comes in to destroy everything then walk away. Spoo, I think you can get closer to the aesthetic you want with suits.

Think of what Brioni makes. Now think of what is the opposite of that. Jeans. You don't buy jeans from them for the same reason you don't buy a suit from Levi.

This is pretty much right (actually I'd argue Self Edge doesn't really sell any trendy girl jeans... most are repros of early to mid 1900's Levis which all have only slight taper and full enough thighs).

Very nice outfit Sir. You could / should have about 2cm more pocket square showing though.

I see that your watch strap and dog leash match!!

Neo, as usual, ******* killing it with extreme prejudice.

Spoo, stick with a mix.

I am unconvinced that it is suited to me, from the evidence shown below - I am sure that others will weigh in with opinions on this matter. I substituted the tie for the four-in-hand shown.

For the seersucker, I think a floppier, softer bowtie in a neat pattern is more suitable. Shame about the weather.

Honestly, Spoo, I'm not convinced that this is a decision you need to make. I go through periods where my suits (such as they are...) are the only options I consider in the morning, then other times when odd jackets are more appealing. I will say that I quite like today's fit, which is interesting without being wild. It even has a little pop a la Spoo with the orangey red in the PS. Maybe you should put together the ten pics from the last two weeks and make a poal to run while you're on vacation...

I think a mix keeps things more interesting.

The way Spoo non-chalantly coordinates his Roley bezel to the overcheck of his sportcoat is a level of shwag customarily only attained by Russian billionaires, heads of global drug cartels, oil and mineral magnates, and members of the royal family of the Sultanate of Brunei.
