Overall, I think that guys in this thread are going a bit overboard with the wool ties, especially for those currently above the equator. (This one was only a double.)

Thanks. I agree. Fortunately, no one I know IRL notices so it only effects my SF cool meter. Point taken though. I kind of thought it was wrong this morning, but more so because I chose to wear a wool tie in the summer (although it barely reached 70 today). I didn't even think about the wool tie being wrong w the City suit. I will keep that in mind.

I took the pics in my office but was on my way to the vineyard and my wife said no tie.

I see zero wrinkles on that bird. She looks perfectly taut. Smartly done on all fronts, but mainly the bird.

First time in a suit for a conference.
Posting it because I'd like some inputs regarding the tie width. It's 2.75" wide. Too narrow? Or passable? What would be the acceptable width range in my case?
P.S. BB in-store tailor seemed to mess the sleeve length. Should I have them brought in about 1/4''?

Experimenting with a 7" hem on my trousers. I think it's a little bit too slim, making my size 10.5s look boatish. 8" is probably the better opening size for me.

It's not the narrow sleeves silly! It's the huge biceps.

There is nothing wrong with your tie except the knot. Re-do it with a bit of flair and a little dimple and i am sure it will look real cool Bud.

Someone asked, the shirt is made by Schoffa, a Finnish label.

No one other than us would see this issue, so it's not a real world problem.

Thanks. I think there's maybe a little bit too much padding as you said in the shoulders.

However, I normally use that suit (/coat) only at work / office, so I let myself think that it's ok by bringing a little taste of "power dressing" to my look
