Good eye, and it's not the pose. These sleeves do, in fact, feel shorter than I'd like, but only get that way after I've worn the coat for a while if it's just been pressed, or if I don't press or steam the sleeves between wearings (not usually something I mess with). The creasing of the linen at the elbows causes the sleeves to draw up a considerable amount. This is something I'm displeased with my tailor about and have since avoided on subsequent linen coats (this one is several years old). As this was one of my first linen suits, I didn't know to account for the creasing/shortening effect, but my tailor should have IMO. Since this has working buttonholes, it can't be fixed. Linen can't easily be let out without scarring anyways, so even if I were ok with more spacing between the cuff and the first button (I'm not), I'm prohibited from changes. I still wear it anyways, though never without noticing the sleeve-length issue.

Spoo's post above inspired me to come out of hiding. Hope everyone is doing well.
Yes, that is the new Panta grenadine tie - LOVE it.

I am opposed to anything other than black trousers with black shoes. I might wear navy or grays if I didn't own tan/walnut.

Despite your concerns about the fit of your suit, you look great! I appreciate your taste in wearing dark, traditional suits. Your clothing, sense of style, and personality have come together quite well. I admire your willingness to stick with traditional standards. Please keep up the good work.

Why not? Blue and orange are complements, after all.
