You can't really get a smaller knot than a FIH. Just tug it (lightly) a little lower to tighten. Couldn't see it was a knit tie - that does make it a bit harder to have a compresses knot.

What colour is that suit? Tealy-grey? Interesting to compare this to the one kevinsp8 posted a while back. I think it shows what difference a more conventional cut and less vivid shade makes. I still don't really like the colour much, but the outfit works very well on its own terms I think.

Nice, clean look. The tie is the loser. Try a simple, solid burgundy tie with a neat, crisp linen white pocket square.

100 degrees outside and damn chilly at work laugh.gif

Went shopping so new khakis, cardigan and got the FU tie at Goodwill. Too bold?

I'm glad you got a nice pair of shoes. Now you need to get a couple decent looking ties. Your fit is good, but I'd like to see more shirt cuff while standing straight. Alter the sleeves a bit to get it right.
