I created my SF profile in August 2011, but my first time looking at/posting on SF was on May 20, 2013 right here in WAYWRN.  Today marks the one year anniversary of my first post.  I've learned a great deal in the past year and would like to thank those of you who have given me advice and/or encouragement in that time, helping me to grow sartorially.  I know I've been hardheaded at times, but I really do appreciate it.  :worship:  I'd also like to thank those of you who haven't given me any guidance, but consistently posted great fits worthy of emulation.  I did my best to learn from your superlative examples. :fonz:  Thank you all, gentleman.

I like this look, but I wish the second to last button on the vest was buttoned.  I think it looks a bit sloppy given how well everything else is put together.

I like the casual look with jeans...but I don't like those shoes and I don't think they fit with the outfit...it might be the very long and pointed last that they were made on...just looks off to me.

Agreed to a point, they are certainly a pretty formal shoe for this type of outfit. I was between the Martegani's and a pair of burgundy tassel loafers, which probably would have been a better choice. The Martegani's hadn't gotten much wear in awhile so I went with those.

Figured the jeans might not get much love on here nest.gif

How long have you and Kulata been roommates?

Bah, someone beat me to the joke.

@An Acute Style - excellent look today! Thanks for the comments, jacket is one of those Italian made numbers from Brooks Brothers .

@luv2breformed - I actually had a wider tie picked out and went back to this one, I'll give the other a shot next time.

@FreedBird  - I like the halves separately, but I think the tie + white (non OCBD) shirt is a little too formal for the jeans.

I like the suit, tie and shirt, but I'm not crazy about the pocket square.  Given how dark the tie and suit are, I think a lighter pocket square would be better.  Where's the tie from?  The shirt is Luxire, right?

Thanks, AAS. I'm wearing brown shoes, and I liked the callback with the hank. The tie is Drakes, and, yes, the shirt is my latest Luxire. I need to tweak the cuff measurement a wee bit, and then I'm probably going to order half a dozen.

So you pay tribute by wearing a straight down the middle, SF-approved fit? biggrin.gif It's good to have you here. Even with the bit loafers... lol8[1].gif
