This weekend is actually the Victoria Day long weekend. Canada Day is July 1, when we celebrate the time we burned down the White House and our 1-0 record in wars against the U.S.

Edit: I hope it's clear that I'm also just joshing you.

By "we" you mean Britain, right? biggrin.gif

While we will probably never beat the US in a conventional war, at least we win in hockey! :)

+1 Spot on.

I believe it was Jefferson who said acquiring Canada was just "a matter of marching." I don't believe Americans have decided to cross the 49th parallel since. :sly::nest:

Yes, remember that the US and Canada both started as UK colonies - the US was the badly behaved one, and Canada was the good one - like two siblings.

Well done! I was beginning to think that nobody knew how to work a spread collar around here.

Yay, happy Victoria Day. The first long weekend of Canadian Summer and here, about 3 miles from the CN Tower, it was a high of 45 Farenheight today.:plain:

@Claghorn Who's this scallywag?  He looks kind of familiar.  Nice jacket though.  :fonz:

It has been a long time since I posted in this thread, but figured I would start posting from time to time once again. Here is a casual spring outfit from the other day. This is not really a true classic menswear post, but more so than streetwear & denim.
