HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 5213

Some ties are harder to dimple than others - I find a couple of mine e.g. soft wool challises from Drake's, really difficult to hold that little beauty.  A stronger knot e.g. HW can help (or even FW, there I said it!).  But here's a top tip from an amateur: when you've made the horizontal loop of the knot and have pushed the front blade down through it, before tightening it, push that horizontal part down a little off the knot and the tighten it.  It will have more surface area directly in contact with the front blade and hold it more firmly when you pull it tight.

Sugarbutch you have set a standard around these parts and consistently knock it out of the park. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Backed the last two winners of the meet last night to bring it back, probably £30 down overall with gee-gees. Took the golfing money though dude!

Cracking fun, lots of guinness, no sleep and endless banter! My ed hurts!

Thanks, ss and Stitchy.

ss, I really like the shirt/tie/hank combo today. And I don't even like contrast collars.

Good evening.  This tie is much brighter than I thought it was.

That hat looks forced. I like everything else though!

Guys,

Thanks for all of the positive feedback on my date night outfit. It was a bit out of the ordinary but it was well received by the SF community.

Seriously, I admire some bow tie rocking.  Don't like lapel flowers, but really, I like what you're going for there.  Do your jacket up though.  Always.  And especially with a bow tie as it leaves a lot of empty shirt.

It is my impression that the lapel flowers, especially knitted ones are a fad at best but I have embraced it openly. Duly noted with the jacket closure, I see exactly what you mean..

I am not sure exactly what you are saying but I will take it as a great compliment.
