There are definitely some more basics in their MTM box. Their A range and D range have quite a lot to pick from.
I also would say 95% of my dress shirts are Talbott MTM.

I need to order a few more but I want to try their trim model as I lost a significant amount of weight and dont need shoulder pleats

The comment was more directed at SS that Noodles.  I've heard SS mention that it gives the illusion of height.  I'd love to see him in a longer pant for comparison.  I think the short pants make him look short, but I could be wrong.

I'm with you, AAS. I don't buy into the logic of short pants giving an illusion of height. Unless you are going for the look of a 12 year old who outgrew last year's pants, I actually think short cropped trousers make one look even shorter, not taller. Or at least, they make the legs look shorter. Reason is simple: when you're in pants, your pants are your legs, visually speaking. Shorter pants=shorter leg line=shorter legs. No illusion of height.

That illusion isn't working if that is what you are trying. I can see your height very clearly.

If you want to create the illusion then shouldnt you go for striped (verticle pinstripe) pants?

Let me be your number 20.
Like it a lot. That jacket's fit is impeccable.

And if you don't like the fit, you can at least enjoy one of Melbourne's beautiful plane-tree-lined boulevards in all its autumnal glory.

On serious side, the fit well deserved it.
(from not so serious angle, admittedly it gets "worse" when you consider that we live in the same loco.)

Hmm let's see if I can summarise the weekend, mcobinad still posting too tight fits, SB is still harping on AAS's bit loafers, people are still bugging southerstyle about his short trousers.... To quote a very eloquent man: It's like deja vu all over again.....

Here's my humble contribution to the daily deja vu that is WAYWRN.......
