ha ha that's why I was asking I'm trying to figure out Luxire collars etc. Gluck with it! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Hello

This was yesterday. I wanted to try as someone told me in the previous fit, to try with a lighter PS. So I used nearly the same combo as the last fit. I still need to take the jacket to the tailor. And finally got my Luxire pants back from the tailor, he takes forever to fix things. I missed the back rise measurement, when I put the measurements on the Luxire page, by one inch.

I'd think this was more for the casual thread, but it looks good. Pants look short as hell, and maybe a bit fashion forward (especially with the belt and no loops?). I dig all the pattern/color combos though.

thanks you kindly.

the high (kind of) contrast between pants and shoes is the part that you inspired from a convo in another thread a few weeks ago. recall it?

Pants were my grandfather's (who happened to be a few inches shorter than me) from the 20s. They have an incredibly high rise and full leg - definitely not contemporary but hardly fashion forward. If anything fashion backward. There's belt loops there as well, they're just wide set and hidden under the jacket.

As for the casual thread versus this one - just trying to liven things up a bit and show tailoring from a different perspective.

I certainly do! It looks great with the lighter blue suit, as the contrast isn't very high. It makes the outfit more casual and summery. I still think wearing very contrasting shoes with a true navy or charcoal suit looks bad though.

yeah, i agree that the contrast is not as high as what we were discussion previously, and thats probably why it looks good even to your eyes. but i dont mind even the higher contrast look that you dislike. in any case, glad this combo works for you.

horses for courses, buddy!

Loads of good stuff today. PB, I think that tie Sander is wearing is a new arrival at Shibumbi...according to Tumblr. I want it too. Stitch, that matchy at its best.

Lunch date with wife...then I made her take these pix.

Pardon my shoes...it was pouring rain and I had to put on my beaters.
