@gringodaddy, maybe it's the angle of the last picture, but it looks like the jacket is pulling at the button and forming the 'x' brace a bit. Is it? Not sure if it's happening because of you hand in your pocket.

I think there could be minor pulling with gringo's jacket but it also looks like his right arm is behind him which is really exaggerating the pulling - much more so in the top pic than the bottom one.

Under the gun today. Quick shots only, unedited/color corrected.

A lot of your shoes seem to have that rumpling issue - not sure what to call it. Is that a common issue with whatever last/maker you bought? Maybe it's just the same shoe with the rumpling and I think it's an issue with more than one pair ...

@GMMcL

Get a shoe tree :)

Those look like shell creases to me.

That rumpling has a name: shell cordovan

Got it. I only own one pair of shoes in shell and they've only been worn three times so that's good to know.

not all shell looks like that. i think it depends on how your foot fills the shoe and how often you wear them and if you use shoes trees.

Beautiful collection...very cool

This is a result of shell plain toe bluchers. Both these facts are contributing.

I read an article about this on a forum and I can't find it now. I will search and report back if I can.

Also good to know! I'm not fond of it so that'd keep me from buying more shell if it was a guaranteed effect in the long-term.

Mine are Carmina cap toe and I use trees so I'm thinking if it happens it won't be nearly as pronounced.

I really dig this fit. You are the only person that has anything close to a British inspired style (apart from David Reeves, a vendor) and we need more for variety.icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
