My first "fit" pic. Next one will be better, I promise!

Wearing a new Caruso jacket (which I got from our man in Venice, IchDien cheers.gif)

I suspect Hackett doesn't get a lot of love around these parts, but I picked up this lovely windowpane tweed waistcoat on Friday and have been wearing it all weekend.

Friday's fit - waistcoat slotted right in with what I happened to be wearing (Gant SC, Henry Carter tie, Canali trousers) that day, so I wore it out of the store. (Apologies to Clags for the pink shirt.)

Wore at again on Saturday, this time paired up with an RLP denim button-down and my new rockin' Kapital jeans (courtesy of Spoo). You can better see the colour of the woven leather buttons in this photo.

Stay tuned for further Hackettry in future fit posts.

Thanks, MonkeyFace!

As TweedyProof it really does not seem like try purple, in fact I guess it gives more like a light brown look. I bet that when you try it on, you gonna like the color and buy it. biggrin.gif

I don' mind the neat with this fit, but I suppose some will weigh in against it.

The color scheme works really well, and I like the shape in the collar (not too spread but points under lapel, giving room for the tie...great!). I wonder if you could have slightly more pop in the pocket square, a light green (light) cotton square or even something lighter brown.

Thanks, TweedyP! It is lined but it still let your body stay cool. Will try other squares for next time. smile.gif

and those lapels are to die for.

but.....have you ever tried stuffing your pocket square differently? Not a big thing, obviously, but it is consistently my only reservation about your fits, which otherwise I love wholeheartedly as they both appeal to my aesthetic and bring a bit of fresh air into the thread.

A great illustration of the perfection created by a blue jacket, gray trouser of most any shade, and chocolate necktie-- one of my personal favorite combos.

Different ways of folding pocket squares Clags. I prefer this one
