Crusty, what do you wear for raingear? As a fellow resident of NYC, I still totally fail in this area. I'm especially interested in the hat; I have been wanting a non-dorky rain hat for those days when it's too windy for an umbrella (i.e. every time it rains in this city).

Don't wear a hat unless you're over 50 or Tirailleur1.

was not going to post any pictures today because of the uniform look, but could not help my self.
@Gianni I really like your ties, compliments!

Calypso - your jodhpurs - they look very similar to a pair I have, which are Cheaneys - nice look, in any case.

Today, I'm wearing a fedora-esque hat in microsuede (a.k.a. the finest of polyesters) which is rainproof, though not particularly good in wind, but for $12 from my local Syms, it's served me well.

As for a hat for rain & wind, if you could find a flat cap that had some form of waterproofing, that would be aerodynamically and meteorologically wise.

Happily, I am well over the minimum age limit.

I'm the same, I never got "pre-owned" things before.

As for your look, I like everything except the boots. Not my cup of tea...

Thanks.  Yes, it's made up by Formosa in a wool/silk/linen cloth from Drapers

And here I am in a sad rainy day Italian! On my neck I always carry a vintage bespoke ancient Foulds 7 in just two pieces of silk. Getting all unlined and all hemmed by hand. While I wanted to exaggerate the feet with socks ... I love =)

Lovely tie. Equally liking the eye glasses and the rain coat.

Still messing around with yellow ties after last week's challenge theme. I always struggle to find a role for this tie. It was a gift, and I appreciate its sentiment, so keep trying to find the right role for it... suggestions welcomed!!

Also, first time wearing this suit. Got it last year but it's a lighter weight so haven't been able to wear it until today.
