I'm afraid you have a huge collar gap.

I think its because the button position is too high for your frame, so its pushing the top part of the collar out. Agreed, there's no way this jacket is going to properly fit you, so before you get it altered, bring it back and exchange it for something else. Did someone in the store help you with this? If so, see if you can get a refund and don't shop in that store again.

He's also not at natural rest...

left quarters/shoulder are forward and right shoulder is leaning back with the arm so you aren't getting an accurate representation to begin with.

Definitely the same fabric! It's very fun, isn't it. It could simply be that both Luxire and Bugatchi sourced from the same fabric supplier. Don't know.

You know, some here might look down on them, if they did them in a small enough size to fit me, I'd probably have one or two of these. They're OK for the price, and the styling is pretty decent.

Spring is definitely here! Able to wear white jeans for the first time this year, and also my new excellent Adire-dyed cotton tie from Tirailleur1/Post-Imperial. Square is from woe-is-me/Ikire Jones, from last year's collection and I'm thinking about getting another soon. :slayer:

I have two of them, and they are a great fit for a great price. Material is sturdy and very well made - stitching doesn't come loose, buttons don't fall off, trousers don't lose shape... I've sort of drifted away from them now as I find TM Lewin suits are a good bit nicer for a little more money. They have a very large range of sizes though, what size are you that you can't get a fit?

As for your fit - daring to wear white trousers in any country north of Spain takes guts! :) I'd only ever wear white trousers on holidays because I'd be afraid of getting them dirty during a normal working day. But fair play to you for getting out there in yours! :slayer:

Suit is M&S Collezione

Tie I got in Florence in 2008

Shirt is Savoy Taylors Guild

Shoes are Grenson Kirk

Just to be me I went for that PS - might be matchy with the tie but it adds a bit of fun into the proceedings.

Very beautiful and elegant.

Brand new granite countertop with exceptional patterns, very clean looking windowpane floor tiles, and the shiny handblower.

Compliments.

All jokes aside, I think it is great that you've tried something different and you (hopefully) have learned something from it. You have your CBD look down very nicely. So why not experiment here and there?

Rudals is rapidly turning into one of my favorite posters. He gets the humor here, that's for sure.

Edit: Thread paged over and I am an idiot and thought this was current. Sorry to re-derail the thread guys.

I just hope I don't go too off the tangent and become annoying. That's how I was in the beginning with my meltdowns.

@theberg510's combination is at least better than it was before, but yeah, the fit of the jacket is pretty bad. There are a few posters here with broad torsos that have managed to find jackets that work for them. I'd be on the look out to see how theirs fits and try to emulate that.

 I should get the spec of our bathroom - "Italian granite such and such..." In fairness our bathrooms are always pretty spotless. Its a pity they are so green however; sometimes I feel like I'm in the Matrix!

Glad you like the look. I suppose... it was less about learning what did work, and more about learning what didn't... or what wasn't going to fly in such rarefied company as my learned SF friends. I could do a whole month of CBD, no probs... where I need to nail it is when I'm going off piste, with my louder ties and so on. Figuring that one out is they key really.

As Clags said, color combo is much better. But the shoulders on that jacket make you look like a box. Check out some fits from @DonCologne those can help you a lot.

@RDiaz glad to see you back! Don't think that because you don't post fits we don't want to talk to you. Things will eventually become better and you are going back on business (Classic Menswear talking). :slayer:

Very busy of late, but I thought I should commemorate the last (I hope) roar of winter. 80F on Sunday, 27F when I left my house this morning. Thankfully not the last blast that ClarinetPlayer saw though.

I am very comfortable with my CBD and thus will be "trying" to get out of this pigeon hole. I'll try different things here and there and see what works and what doesn't.:slayer:

I suppose you gotta start with what you like, and then find out if it works or not. Its always hard to balance out what your gut feeling is, and what others are saying / seeing. So be brave, get out there, and stick on a flowery tie! I'll send you some of mine! :)
