This was more of a color choice than an attempt to do jeans SC. Not a good one though...

just start doing @xxxx when you want to properly get someone's name.

I don't quite know what my name is anymore. Noodles? Doodles? Rudals?

I am not wearing jeans with this.

Temperatures are gradually warming up, so able to wear some rather more summery-weight things, albeit still choosing from within the darker colours. Bit casual for this thread, but whatever. First time I've been able to wear this embroidered gingham, one-piece collar shirt. Looks pretty cool without a jacket, but it's certainly not warm enough for that yet! Also, the dreaded-by-SF navy odd trousers (in brushed cotton):

Neat. Never bought from these folks before: any comments about fit, measurements and things to watch for?

They're a cool company. There's a massive thread on them on the front page of the board, so it might be worth your browsing through it at least a little bit. But in brief, I already had a nicely-fitting bespoke shirt so just measured it, submitted those measurements to them and they did a great job. Most of my shirt wardrobe is Luxire these days and I'll be ordering more soon. They're good.

Really top notch stuff, @An Acute Style, @Pliny (is that a rubinacci square?)

Thanks for the thumbs yesterday, folks. Been doing a lot of closet purging lately and this one doesn't get much wear. Trying to figure out whether to keep or not:

The shoulder line is a bit messed up on that one. You might as well include it in the closet purge.

Tuesday. Winter returned with 3 inches of snow and some ice. Thus, tweed and wool are back.

With much gratitude to Brother @sugarbutch for the lovely, wool tie.

Like Don Cherry says on the Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts, "OK, kids, this how ya do it!" A bow tie should never look perfect. This is splendid.

^ yeah, this. Though it's (somewhat) better in the robopose pic. Shame, because the colour/pattern combination in the outfit is great. You could try throwing money (and a good tailor) at the problem, but it'll probably be a bit of crapshoot as to how it comes out. Still, might work.

I don't think Hober does knits.
