I really like that Tie Clags. I wore strictly rep ties for ~7 years and haven't liked many since those days, but this one changes that. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

for the record Clags I quite enjoy San Anton (is that how you'd spell it? as the locals often shorten it) My uncle live in Corpus and we used to go there quite a bit.

Nice Claghorn. Not really comfortable with striped ties, but it looks very good on you...

Thinking about it, I wear my black bluchers a lot more than I wear my black oxfords. I very rarely wear suits, and when I do, I tend to try and dress them down. I dislike black oxfords with odd jackets/trousers, but I think that might just be me.

Agreed. However, I have a hard time wearing oxfords of any sort without a suit including my snuff suede ones. I am currently working on getting over that mental roadblock.

nice look overall clags, but i dont love the black shoes with it.

I think if Clags' pants were a darker shade of grey then the black shoes would really work, but I still like the top part a lot.

And I never even been there. But it looks very very cool. If I can get a nice place to work and make nice money, I will not care. Is like New York, a lot of people from the US doesn't like it and even some New Yorkers don't like it but I'm pretty sure I will love it. You have to consider I am a Messican, so basically those countries I'm pretty sure the lifestyle is quite a lot better. :D

The exception to that, imo, is a classic navy blazer, and grey trousers.  Now that I have my burgundy Oxfords, I think they are nicer than black, but if I want to punch up the formality, I would go with my black cap toe Oxfords.

I would love to live in S.Korea but that means I would have to do mandatory service in the military for two years even though I am an American citizen. Plus, I can't find a job that pays similarly to my American job in S.Korea.

perhaps, but i still think i wouldnt like it. i think that shoes for that fit are not as easy as one might think at first glance. my instinct would be to go with a dark chocolate suede there.
